Privacy notice

RSB Consulting is the trading name of RajSB Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14334595). RajSB Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described here. This notice explains what we collect through this website, why, who processes it and what your rights are.

Email raj@rsbconsulting.uk, or write to RajSB Ltd at the registered office shown at the foot of every page. We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer and have not done so; data protection is the responsibility of the company's director.

WHAT WE COLLECT AND WHY

When you use the enquiry form on our contact page we collect your first and last name, your email address, the option you choose from the "interested in" list and any background you write. The form also records the page you sent it from and the date and time. We use this to read your enquiry, reply to you and decide whether and how we can help. Each enquiry is stored in the enquiry list on our website dashboard, and your name and email address are added to the website's contact list so that we can reply to you. We do not use that list for marketing. If we ever offer a newsletter or updates, you will receive them only if you have subscribed, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Please do not put health information or anything else especially sensitive in the form. If you need to discuss something of that kind, tell us and we will agree a way to do it.

If you email or ring us, we hold what you send or tell us so that we can respond. We do not record calls. Where a call needs a written note we keep one, with your agreement, in the client file on our own systems.

When you visit the website, Wix's systems (which host it) receive technical information from your browser - your IP address, browser and device type and the pages you request - to serve the pages, keep the site secure and monitor its performance. The page content loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives the technical details of that request, including your IP address. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or similar advertising or behavioural tracking tools on this site.

OUR LAWFUL BASIS

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us about our services and in keeping a record of those enquiries. Where an enquiry leads to work, we also process your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

WHO PROCESSES YOUR INFORMATION

Wix.com Ltd, provides the website hosting, the system that stores enquiries, the form that records them and the contact list, and processes this information on our behalf under its data processing terms. The United Kingdom Wix's terms rely on standard contractual clauses approved by the competent authority. Enquiry notifications and any email you send us are held in the mailbox for raj@rsbconsulting.uk, hosted by Google under its Google Workspace data processing terms. No one outside RSB Consulting sees your enquiry. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Enquiries that do not lead to work: twelve months from your last contact with us. Enquiries that lead to work: kept in the client file for six years after the work ends, the period within which a legal claim could still be brought. Email correspondence and website contact-list entries: the same period as the enquiry they belong to. When a period ends we delete the information unless we are required to keep it.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we have no continuing reason to keep it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests, ask for information you gave us in a form you can reuse, and withdraw any consent you have given. The enquiry form makes no automated decisions about you. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above; we will respond within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow SK9 5AF) - we would rather you raised it with us first so that we can put it right.

This site sets a small number of technical cookies that Wix needs to serve pages, manage sessions, cache content and keep the site secure (on a first visit: XSRF-TOKEN, bSession and ssr-caching). They are strictly necessary for the site to work and are not used to track you across other websites, which is why no cookie banner is shown. No advertising or analytics cookies from third-party tools are set. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking the technical cookies may stop parts of the site working.
